The Domain Château Les Sacristains was established in the XIV. century by the Benedictine monks of the ABBAYE DE VALMAGNE to provide food and wine to the nearby abbey.
The Domain is surrounded by 75 hectares of rolling landscape full of olive & truffle groves, vineyards, meadows and pine forests. The design and appearance of the stone buildings derive from the XVIII. and XIX. century and are typical of the romantic rural architecture of the South of France. The renovation of the original buildings has been carried out with the greatest respect for their historical origins but without sacrificing any of the modern conveniences. All residences have their own entrances and small individual terraces in a beautifully landscaped garden setting. The fully equipped kitchens are a temptation to experience the rich variety of agricultural products, game, seafood and fine wines of the region.
